Details on the Mechanical Girl

Every detail on the mechanical girl – except for the screws – is handmade. It takes hours of grinding, welding and cutting in order to tune up even the simplest mechanism or the smallest detail. In this picture you can see some parts of the pulley system for the upper arm and the forearm. The construction of the “gear box” of the upper arm took approximately 16 hours, while the elbow (in the right corner) got finished in 10 hours.
